Peter Chapman has had a long career in social housing, originally in local government and then in consultancy. He founded Chapman Hendy Associates in 1988, which after a merger became HACAS Chapman Hendy, subsequently sold to the Tribal Group. He has been a specialist adviser to several House of Commons Select Committee inquiries, is Chair of the National Communities Resource Centre charity, and a Director of Assettrust Housing Ltd and of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea Tenant Management Organisation.
Viv Rosser joined Ibis in November 2008 from Assettrust Housing, an innovative private Investor in affordable housing, where he was an Executive Director. Viv has a considerable track record in real estate and affordable housing, having previously been Group Development Director at St James Homes (part of Berkeley Group), Development and New Business Director at Thames Valley Housing Association, and Head of Housing at Reading Borough Council. He is currently a board member of Bracknell Forest Homes.
Greg Campbell is a strategic management consultant with a wide-ranging background in social housing, local government and the voluntary sector. A consultant over the past 12 years, he is the founding Director of Campbell Tickell, a multi-disciplinary management consultancy focusing on the social housing and care sectors. Greg’s specialist areas of expertise include governance and regulation, strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions, executive recruitment, public relations, procurement, and new business development. He was formerly a non-executive Board member of two housing associations.
Tom Hopkins is the representative of MMC Ventures, the principal investor in Ibis Project Services. Tom is the Portfolio Director at MMC Ventures is responsible for a number of their portfolio companies including Ibis. Prior to joining MMC 2008, Tom worked for Active Private Equity, a venture capital firm investing in the consumer and leisure sectors, and PricewaterhouseCoopers, where he advised clients in the financial services sector. Tom is a qualified chartered accountant, has an MBA from INSEAD business school and an MA in Economic History from Edinburgh University.
Kathy Hampden joined Ibis as Associate Director in January 2011 to deliver HR resourcing and recruitment products on a partnering basis. A former Director of HR and a consultant since 2001, she brings a track record in successfully supporting a diverse client base from blue chips to housing organisations, local authorities, the NHS, education providers and numerous charities. Kathy is a Chartered Fellow of the CIPD, an accredited mediator and an MBTI practitioner. She holds postgraduate qualifications in HR, general management and coaching & mentoring.
Derek Thurgood is an independent land and development expert, with 25 years experience at a senior level with two Housing Associations in London and the south east. Derek has a large network of contacts and focuses on identifying new development opportunities to introduce to our partners.
Kristin Warrior joined ibis in 2011 as Head of Finance. She is a qualified accountant with 20 years experience in both finance and operations. Prior to working for ibis she worked in the IT industry, spanning businesses from start-up to £300m turnover. She has a wealth of experience in financial management, project management and systems integration in fast growing companies. She is responsible for all aspects of the company’s financial management..
James Green is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor with over 10 years experience in the construction industry. Since joining Ibis he has worked on a broad portfolio of private, affordable housing and Care Home projects; managing the development lifecycle from site identification and appraisal stage through to occupation.
Drew Jefferis is a Chartered Building Surveyor. Since joining Ibis he has worked on a wide range of private and affordable housing projects as both Employer’s Agent and Ecohomes/Code for Sustainable Homes Assessor.
Luis Perez joined Ibis in 2008 as an Assistant Project Manager, following graduation from the University of Southampton. Whilst working towards his RICS accreditation, Luis is involved on a wide range of our affordable housing schemes, notably Grosvenor Waterside and Kennett Island.
Tom Pinder joined Ibis in September 2009 as an Assistant Project Manager, having previously worked in the Leisure Industry. Tom has a degree in Geography from the University of Portsmouth, is a qualified HQI Assessor, an approved Code For Sustainable Homes Assessor and has commenced the RICS Foundation Course on his way to becoming a qualified surveyor .
